TISAX  –  Information Security for the Automotive Industry – Audit and Certification

TISAX(Trusted Information Security Assessment Exchange ) is a mechanism for assessing and exchanging information security standards within the automotive industry. TISAX certification verifies that a company’s information security management system meets specified security levels and enables the sharing of assessment results across a designated platform.

There are three TISAX assessment levels:

Level 1: Only need to complete the ISA questionnaire and publish this self-assessment in TISAX. [Standard Suppliers]

Level 2: The self-assessment will be followed by a random plausibility check by an approved audit provider.

Level 3: Need to undergo on-site inspection by an approved audit provider.
